Experience is earned through various events throughout the match and is used for leveling your Champion.

Experience Mechanics[ | ]

Typical experience granting events are minion kills, players kills, and objectives.

Experience is gained when your champion is within 500 units of an experience granting event. Note, some events reward global experience, which do not require you to be in range and is not shared based on the number of players in the area.

Once a champion reaches the max level of 20, they no longer gain experience.

Catch-Up Experience[ | ]

When your champion level is 2 or more levels below the enemy team's average champion level, you gain an additional 15% experience from all sources. XYZ
